Parish Holiday Club

On Wednesday, 20th August, the Holiday Club children and Leaders will be going on their Annual Day Trip. We are going to Whipsnade Zoo, where there is much to do, as well as the animals to see.

A 57 seat coach has been booked, all seats fitted with seat belts, and the driver will be Guy who has taken us each year.

There are a few seats left, so please contact me as soon as possible if your child would like to join us.

Ages are restricted to 4 to 13 years. The cost for Club members is £8.00; Adults £10.00, plus £1.00 per person insurance. For non regular Club children, the cost is £10.00 and Adults £12.00, plus £1.00 per person insurance. The cost covers coach and admission. A £5.00 non returnable deposit will book your seat. We will leave from the bus lay-by at Birch Green PROMPTLY at 9.15 am, and return by 5.00 pm (traffic permitting).

The children will be in organised groups (arranged by me, no swaps permitted). Supervision will be by adults, one of whom will be a Club Leader in each group.

Please bring a packed lunch; drinks should have resealable lids; food. Drink and sweets will NOT be consumed on the coach. I suggest pocket money of £5.00 MAXIMUM, the children will each be responsible for their money. I therefore suggest coins rather than a note, in a named purse. Handheld games and mobile 'phones are NOT permitted. I will have my mobile 'phone with me.
