Need a Change in Direction?
If you are looking for a new challenge that is both stimulating and rewarding, then consider volunteering for your local Citizens Advice Bureau.
Volunteers are the lifeblood of every Bureau and the enthusiasm, ideas and life experience each person brings is greatly appreciated. Voluntary work is a good way of developing new skills, boosting confidence and gaining valuable experience for future employment. CABx in Hertford and Ware are looking for volunteers to train as advisers for 8-10 hours a week. Volunteers are not required to have any experience in giving advice and will be given training in a supportive environment.
Opportunities are available to volunteer on a term time only basis. Travel and dependency care expenses are paid. Citizens Advice Bureau offers a free, impartial and independent advice service that is completely confidential.
If you would like to find out more, please call Julie Street on Hertford 01992 589377 or Ware 01920 463803.
