Music at St Mary's
The next concert in the series "Music at St Mary's' will be an instrumental one, as a contrast after the choral music we have enjoyed so far. It will be given by the string quarter "Anything Goes" (Chris Woodrow, Jane Eldred, Claire Lovegrove and Liz Kirkwood) who have performed locally on many occasions, including most recently in the "Soundbites" series at All Saints Church. Their programme will include the Quartet No. 2 by Borodin (the one with the tune everyone knows) and they will be joined in a clarinet quintet by Cohn Eldred. A cup of coffee or a glass of wine are offered as well, so come and enjoy an evening of live music and at the same time contribute to the upkeep of St Mary's. Tickets are £5 or £3 concessions from Christopher Maunder Taylor (01992 505189) or Susan Hitch (01992 583934).Please note: Although the Hertingfordbury Parish News is produced by St. Mary's PCC, the opinions expressed by contributors are not necessarily those of the PCC.
