Generous Newcomers

Having witnessed the impromptu auction at the Fete, Russell Dawson and Vicky Smith, who had recently moved into Hertingfordbury offered the Recreation Ground Trustees a signed England Rugby shirt to be auctioned on a future occasion. This was successfully achieved at a charity ball at Haileybury College and Russell and Vicky have very generously donated half of the money raised for the shirt to the Recreation Ground. The Trustees are very grateful and would like to record their thanks.
