Hertingfordbury Parish News: June 2003

Patronal Festival

Saturday, 13th - Arts Day

Sunday, 14th (3pm) - Open Air Service followed by the Parish Tea Party

This is an official invitation to all residents of the Parish and in particular to the members of Hertingfordbury Parish Council and Hertford Town Council.

This will be the third Arts Day, and we are looking for 'creative people' who live in the Parish or who are in some way connected with it. May we display your work and celebrate your talent? Last year there were 119 people exhibiting their work, but we feel that there are probably more people hiding their lights under bushels. Please contact Alison Robinson if you need more information.

The full programme for the Arts Day will be advertised, and will also appear in the September Parish News and it is hoped that there will be a second chance for those who missed Tony Fewkes' marvellous Hertingfordbury Jubilee Celebrations film, first shown at the Arts Day last year. It really is good and does capture the spirit of that day.

(Anyone who could bake for the tea party should contact Kay Juniper at the beginning of September.)
