Patronal Festival Weekend

Such events do not just 'happen'. They have to be thought about, planned, organised and brought to fruition. All of this takes time, patience and an ability to cajole, persuade, convince people that they do have something to offer in time and talent.

We, in our Parish, are thankfully blessed with someone who has not only the vision to make such occasions a success, but the energy to see it through; from blueprint, to invitations, to the occasion itself. Our recent Patronal Weekend was a wonderful display of local talent, of endeavour and of high social success. There are many people who took part in front of house and backstage, and to them goes our grateful thanks.

But every ship needs a Captain, and we have a splendid one. So from the whole Parish we say a loud and clear THANK YOU to Jane Hoare.
