Music at St. Mary's

The last concert in our 2002/2003 season will be a recital by Mary Hitch (soprano) and David Sutton (piano) on Saturday, 26th July at 7.30 pm. Their theme will be "Summer Song" with works by Schubert and sundry English composers.

Mary was born in Hertingfordbury and attended Hertingfordbury school. She sang in St. Mary's choir from the age of seven until she went to Cambridge University with a choral scholarship. She trained afterwards at the Royal College of Music and the Royal Northern College. Now living in the north, she has sung solo roles with various choral societies in Lancashire and teaches at Lancaster University.

The first concert in the 2003/2004 season will be given by the Positif Choir on 20th September 2003.
