John Wood: 22 May 1942 - 10 June 2003
To my friends in Hertingfordbury, I would like to say a sincere thank you for the love and support you have shown throughout John's illness. Your cards and messages certainly brightened his days in hospital and since his death the kindness so many of you have shown has been of great comfort to Fiona, Kirsten and myself. You may be interested to know that a cheque has been sent to the Royal Marsden Hospital Melanoma Research Fund in John's memory. We were quite overwhelmed by the response and would like to thank all who contributed so generously to this very worthy cause.
