At the next meeting, which is "members evening" arranged by member Jan Porter, the competition is "on the spot". Our August meeting (the Mystery Tour) was a great success. 52 members and some husbands left Mayflower Place at lOam, destination unknown. We arrived at Kenwood House, Hampstead for a day of leisure, a stroll around lovely grounds, and an escorted tour of the house in the afternoon, a treasure of lovely paintings, returning home at 6pm. For anyone who has not been, I can really recommend it.
