Hertingfordbury Women's Institute

At the October meeting, Mr Daniel Johnson fascinated us with his talk on "Smuggling." We had a good response from our competition and all the limericks will be read out at our November meeting. It is with sadness that Mercie Crane, a W.I. member for many years, died on 25th October. Mercie will be greatly missed by Hertingfordbury W.I. and her many friends.

Next meeting: December: Speaker – Knave of Herts. Entertainment – Male Barbershop Group. Competition – A Christmas table decoration. Christmas Raffle.

January 2004: Speaker: Brenda Harold - Wild Flowers on a country walk.
