Hertingfordbury Women's Insitute

In January we enjoyed a talk on 'Wild flowers on a country walk' by Dr Brenda Harold. Her talk was illustrated with beautiful slides of some well known and some slightly less well known wild flowers. The competition, an evergreen spray with a single flower, produced some attractive entries.

Members have enjoyed a number of coach outings in recent months including a Glenn Miller concert at the Barbican. Later this month a booking has been made for 'Anything Goes' at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.

Next Meeting: 22nd March. 'Wandering the wine routes of Europe' by Mrs Joyce Donald. Visitors welcome. Joan Wheatley
