Hertingfordbury Parish News: September 2003
Challenge 22 The Boiler Fund Appeal
An up date on how things are going In the Bank already £2,000 plus. Out in the Parish and elsewhere 58 official Jam Jars and some others containing about £18.00 each with 4 more weeks to go! PLEASE remember that ALL jars should be gathered in by the first Sunday in October, by then containing £22.00 or more! If paying by cheque, please make cheque payable to Hertingfordbury PCC. IT IS MOST IMPORTANT that each jar contains a GIFT AID form as well. These are at the back of the Church now, but if you have difficulties getting there to collect one, please phone Jane (582891) and she will get a form to you. If you do not pay income tax, and therefore we cannot claim 28p in the £, please put your name on a piece of paper and put it in your jar…this will prevent you being hounded!! Jars can be collected in on Sundays in September after the 9.30 service. If you are anxious to hand them in during the week starting 29th September, please bring them to Stoney Field opposite the Church. Please note: Although the Hertingfordbury Parish News is produced by St. Mary's PCC, the opinions expressed by contributors are not necessarily those of the PCC.
