A Christmas Good Turn

Skip (David Walker) is challenging the Brownies, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts here at Letty Green to raise money by way of a sponsored silence for "World Vision". This organisation supports communities in the developing world in a practical way, for example, providing a flock of seven sheep in Ethiopia (£80) or a herd of goats in East Africa (£95). The children will be seeking sponsors in the near future and can be sponsored individually or in a group of Brownies, Beavers, etc. If any reader unconnected with the pack/colony/troop would be interested in participating your goodwill and contribution would be very welcome.
